  • Analyze electrochemical performance data to improve battery efficiency, safety, and cycle life.
  • Collaborate with materials scientists, manufacturing engineers, and product teams to integrate new technologies into production.
  • Design and execute experiments to study battery degradation, thermal dynamics, and charging behaviors.
  • Develop and maintain simulation models and testing frameworks for performance optimization.
  • Author technical papers, patent filings, and industry publications showcasing R&D outcomes.
  • Evaluate suppliers, materials, and cell components for potential system integration.
  • Ensure compliance with industry safety, testing, and environmental standards (UN38.3, ISO, IEC).

Required Skills

  • Deep expertise in electrochemistry, battery materials, and energy storage systems.
  • Hands-on experience with lithium-ion, solid-state, or lithium-sulfur cell development.
  • Understanding of Battery Management Systems (BMS) and battery safety protocols.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in battery diagnostics, failure analysis, and lifecycle performance.
  • Proficiency with laboratory instrumentation, data acquisition, and test automation systems.

Desired Skills

  • Experience with simulation tools such as COMSOL, ANSYS, MATLAB, or Python for electrochemical modeling.
  • PhD in Materials Science, Electrochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Knowledge of EV battery technologies, grid-scale energy storage, or renewable integration.
  • Experience with scale-up, pilot manufacturing, or industrial R&D collaborations.
  • Published research or patents in advanced battery technologies.

Job Benefits

  • Competitive salary with annual performance-based bonus
  • Hybrid working with flexible scheduling
  • Access to state-of-the-art laboratory and R&D facilities
  • Private healthcare and pension scheme
  • Professional development and training support
  • Opportunity to work on pioneering green energy innovation projects
  • Sponsorship for research publications and patent applications

Education
