Job Description
Mastar Limited is seeking a Health Data Analyst to help transform healthcare through the power of data.
In this role, you’ll collaborate with clinicians, researchers, and healthcare organizations to analyze complex medical datasets, interpret trends, and generate actionable insights that improve patient outcomes and clinical efficiency.
The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in data analytics, health informatics, and statistical modeling, combined with a deep appreciation for data privacy and regulatory compliance in healthcare.
Experience
2–5 years of experience in health data analytics, healthcare informatics, or epidemiology.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and analyze large-scale healthcare datasets from EHR systems, clinical databases, and external sources.
 - Build and maintain interactive dashboards and data visualizations using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
 - Conduct statistical and predictive analysis to support clinical decision-making, operational performance, and research studies.
 - Collaborate with clinicians, public health professionals, and policy stakeholders to turn data into meaningful insights.
 - Ensure data governance, security, and patient confidentiality in line with GDPR, HIPAA, and NHS standards.
 - Monitor key performance metrics, prepare analytical reports, and present findings to cross-functional teams.
 - Contribute to machine learning or predictive modeling initiatives in healthcare analytics.
 
Required Skills
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, or R for data analysis and statistical modeling.
 - Strong command of data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker).
 - Familiarity with health data standards such as ICD-10, SNOMED CT, HL7, and FHIR.
 - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.
 - Working knowledge of GDPR, HIPAA, and healthcare data privacy regulations.
 
Desired Skills
- Master’s degree in Public Health, Health Informatics, Biostatistics, or Epidemiology.
 - Experience working with NHS or private healthcare providers.
 - Understanding of value-based healthcare metrics, clinical KPIs, and quality reporting.
 - Background in epidemiological studies, clinical trials, or public health analytics.
