Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Laboratory Scientist to join our growing biotechnology and life sciences team.

The successful candidate will support experimental design, sample processing, and analytical testing across molecular biology, biochemistry, and diagnostic workflows. You will play a vital role in generating high-quality scientific data that supports research programs, product development, and clinical studies.

This position is ideal for a scientist with strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and a passion for innovation in biosciences, healthcare, and biotechnology research.


Experience

2–5+ years of experience in a laboratory research, diagnostic, or biotechnology environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform laboratory experiments in molecular biology, biochemistry, or cell biology.
  • Prepare and analyze biological samples (DNA, RNA, proteins, tissues, or blood).
  • Conduct assays such as PCR/qPCR, ELISA, Western blotting, and gel electrophoresis.
  • Maintain and calibrate laboratory instruments and ensure proper documentation.
  • Support method validation, quality control, and data analysis procedures.
  • Collaborate with scientists, project leads, and QA personnel to meet research milestones.
  • Follow strict GLP, GMP, and biosafety protocols.
  • Maintain accurate lab records, reports, and LIMS data entries.

Required Skills

  • Strong background in molecular biology, cell culture, or biochemical assays.
  • Proficiency in PCR, spectrophotometry, and immunoassay techniques.
  • Familiarity with Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) and biosafety standards.
  • Excellent documentation, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative research team.
  • Strong analytical mindset with attention to experimental accuracy and reproducibility.

Desired Skills

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or Biomedical Sciences.
  • Experience in NGS, flow cytometry, or cell-based assay development.
  • Knowledge of LIMS, ISO 15189, or GMP environments.
  • Previous work in clinical laboratories, biotech R&D, or academic research institutes.

Education
