Job Description
Mastar Limited is seeking a dynamic and experienced Product Manager – Payments & Lending to lead the strategy, development, and delivery of next-generation digital financial products.
In this role, you’ll work closely with engineering, design, compliance, and business teams to build scalable digital payment solutions and lending platforms that redefine financial accessibility and user experience.
As a key member of our FinTech product team, you’ll be responsible for defining product vision, driving go-to-market strategy, and delivering products that meet user needs while aligning with regulatory and business objectives.
Experience
Minimum 5+ years of experience in Product Management, ideally within FinTech, digital banking, or financial services.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the product strategy for payments, BNPL, embedded lending, and credit platforms.
 - Own the full product lifecycle — from ideation to launch — including roadmap planning and KPI tracking.
 - Collaborate with engineering, UX/UI design, compliance, and commercial teams to deliver high-performing products.
 - Translate market research, user insights, and competitive trends into actionable product enhancements.
 - Partner with compliance and risk teams to ensure adherence to FCA, PSD2, and AML/KYC requirements.
 - Monitor and optimize product KPIs such as adoption, engagement, NPS, and churn.
 - Develop business cases, manage backlog prioritization, and oversee release planning.
 
Required Skills
- Proven track record of delivering digital financial products, particularly in payments, P2P transfers, credit, or lending systems.
 - Strong technical understanding of APIs, payment gateways, core banking platforms, and lending infrastructure.
 - Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and cross-functional leadership skills.
 - Deep familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and product delivery frameworks.
 - Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed product decisions.
 
Desired Skills
- Experience working within FCA-regulated environments or with PSD2, AML, or KYC compliance.
 - Exposure to Open Banking, blockchain, or embedded finance ecosystems.
 - Background in startups or scaling product teams within fast-paced, high-growth environments.
