Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Sustainability Program Manager to lead and coordinate corporate ESG, climate strategy, and sustainability initiatives across a leading global organization.
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping the company’s net-zero strategy, managing cross-functional ESG programs, and ensuring alignment with international frameworks such as TCFD, CDP, and SBTi.
This is a high-impact role that requires a balance of strategic leadership, technical expertise, and stakeholder engagement — ideal for professionals who want to drive measurable change toward a sustainable and low-carbon future.
Experience
5–8 years of experience in corporate sustainability, ESG program management, or climate strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage corporate sustainability and ESG programs across business units.
- Lead stakeholder engagement to align operations, products, and supply chains with sustainability targets.
- Conduct carbon footprint assessments, manage GHG reporting, and develop emissions reduction roadmaps.
- Track and report on performance against internal and external sustainability frameworks (SBTi, TCFD, CDP, CSRD).
- Partner with consultants, auditors, and ESG rating agencies to support external disclosures.
- Monitor regulatory changes, voluntary reporting standards, and client ESG expectations.
- Identify opportunities to embed sustainability into procurement, operations, and product life cycles.
- Prepare sustainability dashboards, executive reports, and board-level updates on ESG performance.
Required Skills
- In-depth knowledge of corporate sustainability, carbon accounting, and ESG reporting standards.
- Strong understanding of frameworks such as SBTi, GHG Protocol, CDP, TCFD, and CSRD.
- Proven project management and cross-functional collaboration capabilities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for stakeholder engagement and executive reporting.
- Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, or carbon management platforms (e.g., Sphera, Persefoni, Sweep).
Desired Skills
- Degree or postgraduate qualification in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Climate Policy, or related field.
- Familiarity with ISO 14001, Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), and circular economy principles.
- Experience leading supply chain sustainability or procurement ESG initiatives.
- Skilled in data analysis, dashboard creation, and visual reporting tools.
- Professional certifications such as IEMA, LEED, or equivalent sustainability credentials.
