Job Description

Mastar Limited is seeking an experienced and visionary Telemedicine Consultant to lead the design, deployment, and optimization of digital healthcare solutions across a growing client base.

You will play a pivotal role in supporting healthcare providers as they transition to virtual care models, ensuring clinical quality, regulatory compliance, and enhanced patient outcomes in digital-first environments.

This position is ideal for professionals with a background in healthcare delivery, telemedicine program design, or digital health transformation who are passionate about shaping the future of connected care.


Experience

3–6 years of experience in healthcare delivery, digital health strategy, or telemedicine program development.


Key Responsibilities

  • Consult on the planning, implementation, and optimization of telemedicine programs across hospitals, clinics, and primary care settings.
  • Provide clinical and operational guidance on virtual patient care workflows and digital triage models.
  • Collaborate with IT and product teams to evaluate telehealth platforms and recommend scalable, compliant solutions.
  • Advise on regulatory and data protection compliance including NHS Digital, CQC, GDPR, and HIPAA standards.
  • Design and deliver training programs and adoption strategies for clinicians transitioning to virtual care.
  • Monitor and evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs) for digital care, such as user satisfaction, accessibility, and clinical outcomes.
  • Support change management and digital transformation initiatives within healthcare organisations.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience implementing or managing telemedicine, virtual clinic, or remote patient monitoring solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of telehealth regulations, digital health policies, and clinical governance frameworks.
  • Familiarity with EHR systems, patient portals, and interoperability standards (e.g., FHIR, HL7).
  • Understanding of teleconsultation models across various clinical pathways.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement, training, and change facilitation skills.
  • Ability to translate clinical requirements into digital workflows and strategies.

Desired Skills

  • Clinical background (e.g., GP, nurse practitioner, or allied health professional).
  • Experience with AI-driven triage tools, digital therapeutics, or population health analytics.
  • Familiarity with NHS eConsult, EMIS Web, or Epic Systems.
  • Exposure to public sector digital health transformation or private telehealth innovation projects.

Education
